Clean Beauty Ingredients to Avoid — and What VKTR Uses Instead
"Clean beauty" doesn't have a single legal definition, which makes it easy for the term to become a marketing label rather than a real formulation standard. The more useful approach is knowing which specific ingredients are worth reading labels for, and why — so you can evaluate any product, ours included, on the actual ingredient list rather than a claim on the front of the package.
Ingredients worth checking for
Talc (mined, unrefined)
Mined talc can carry trace asbestos contamination if not properly refined and tested. Reputable brands use cosmetic-grade, asbestos-tested talc or skip it entirely.
